Jill Areheart
Jill Areheart is a Client Account Manager at Duck Creek technologies where she manages a portfolio of Property & Casualty insurance company clients. Jill has worked in the Insurance technology throughout her career, and remained connected with the industry during forays as an independent consultant, non-profit marketer, and project manager at a women’s college.
Jill has a degree in Journalism and worked in advertising before getting her Masters in International Business and entering the Insurance IT world. While in school, she did a long-term internship for a German power tool company in Milan and is proud to be able to say “two handed angle grinder” in three languages.
Farris Jones
Farris Jones is a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst at Verisk Analytics where she models claims settlement data for insurance carriers. Farris has worked in insurance technology for the past 4 years (the length of her career thus far). She previously worked as a Business Analyst for CapGemini where she assisted in Policy and Billing management software implementations for insurance carriers.
Before landing in the world of insurance technology, Farris earned a degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina in 2015 and spent her college years interning with EdVenture Children’s Museum where she coordinated community outreach events and assisted in educational programming in underserved school districts.
Jessica D. Kearse
Jessica D. Kearse is a Business Analyst who works for Sapiens. With more than 6 years of experience working in Property and Casualty, as well as Life and Health lines of insurance, Jessica understands what drives businesses. For the past 3 years, she has focused on enterprise software delivery, developing expertise in billing functionality. She has been recognized by leadership for not only her work leading and supporting highly complex implementation projects but also her willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of her clients. Jessica prides herself on her detail-oriented analysis and customer service skills.
Jessica holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Webster University and a B.S. in Psychology from Clemson University. In her spare time, you will find Jessica event planning with her company, Holly Blue Events & Co., or working tirelessly with the Clemson Black Alumni Council where she serves on the Board of Directors as the Director of Communications and Secretary.
Renee McCormick
Renee McCormick serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of BlueCross and BlueShield of South Carolina. Her responsibilities include all information technology related to providing services to more than 30 million people across the country by processing one third of all Department of Defense TRICARE medical Claims and supporting numerous regional claims-processing contracts as one of the nation’s largest Medicare contractors as well as the technology needs of BCBSSC’s family of subsidiaries.
Renee has held a number of progressive leadership roles since joining BlueCross in 1986 as a programmer in the Commercial Systems Membership and Billing Applications. In January 2017, Renee was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In this role, she oversees a staff of over 1700 IT professionals.
Renee is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. She and her husband Patrick are parents of four children. In her spare time, Renee enjoys participating in triathlon, cycling and running events, completing two full Ironman events and many marathons.
Dianne H. Parker
Dianne H. Parker, founder of Parker Consulting, LLC, specializes in sales and marketing consulting for technology companies serving the insurance industry. As a former executive of two Fortune 500 companies, Dianne assists companies of all sizes in identifying growth opportunities and developing unique sales and marketing strategies for software and professional services offerings, including enterprise software, SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solutions, business process and traditional IT outsourcing.
Her experience includes leading executive teams of technology providers in the development of strategic business plans, product rationalization, development of sales processes and methodologies, and creation/implementation of marketing demand/lead generation activities. She has a degree in Economics from Wake Forest University.
Karen Tebrich
Karen Tebrich has over 40 years serving the Property and Casualty, Life and Disability, and Healthcare markets. Skilled in software development, project/program management, professional services, and SaaS, Karen has held senior roles for both insurance vendors and carriers.
After spending time in High School academics, and in the world of Claims Operations, Karen has focused her career in Insurance Technology.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western Illinois University as well as PMP and FLMI designations.
